In Stage 1, six stable blocks will hold 478 box stalls approximately 3.5metres by 3.5metres in size. Water and power is positioned conveniently throughout the blocks with wash bays at the end of each block.
Amenities are situated in the two centre blocks as well as in the TAFE building located at the eastern end of the stable complex. Amenities also contain some laundry facilities.
The TAFE building will contain a veterinary room and farrier stall.
The two stable blocks located near the sale centre can be converted into cattle pavilions for stud or led cattle. Each stable block will hold up to 200 head.
Stables must be booked with payment prior to arrival at the AELEC.
