There are 195 parking or camping bays situated adjacent to the stables. Power and water points are located conveniently throughout the parking area and service each bay. The all-weather surface in every bay insures a clean, firm base for camping. Large gooseneck or semi trailer length bays have been provided as well as smaller horse trailer and truck parking bays.
Showers and toilets in the amenity blocks are positioned in central points to the parking area located in the two centre stable blocks and the TAFE building on the eastern end of the stable complex.
Amenities also contain some laundry facilities.
Parking and camping bays must be booked with payment prior to arrival at the AELEC.
Support vehicles servicing horse or livestock vehicles can be issued service passes that allow a short stay in the competitor parking area to drop off necessary items. When the pass is returned to the gate monitor the vehicle will be issued a refund. This applies to additional vehicles not to the vehicles pulling the gooseneck or trailer - they are issued a pass for entry to the competitors parking / camping area throughout the event.
To ensure maximum safety and comfort for competitors and animals in the stable complex, general traffic is excluded from the area and all traffic kept to a minimum. General and spectator parking areas are located directly opposite the main entry to the stadium.
