The AELEC is providing event organisers and TAFE undercover yards that will hold around 400 head. There will be permanent troughs for feed and water as well as B-Double loading ramps. Double laneways lead to arenas that include a number of strategically placed gates allowing better control of stock movements.
The undercroft of the stadium has stock holding yards with a capacity of 200 head. These yards feed into both ends of the arena and the centrally located rodeo bucking chutes.
Additional crushes, scales, NLIS scanning races and cattle washing yards will also be included in the undercover handling area. Quarantine yards for sick animals are conveniently located away from the main yards.
